    Hi from the UK

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Sayj, Mar 8, 2014.

Hi everyone it's great to be here :) I recently completed a course in how to write stories for children as I've wanted to do this for years :) originally I wanted to do only illustrating for kids books but I thought why not try and do both. For now I'm happy to stick to writing only. I look forward to chatting with you all and any advice for beginners is more than welcome :)
I'm very excited to get started.
    Happy writing.
    All the best.
    Sayj.

    Hello there Sayj!

I've never tried writing kids stories, but always wanted to try illustrating one, maybe one day, who knows.

Welcome to the forums, enjoy your time here.

    Welcome, Sayj!

I've written a children's book (admittedly a Christian one, but it still needs to be attention-grabbing), and I'm currently working on finding an agent or publisher. Because of my simplistic writing style, I do enjoy writing for children if the mood strikes me. I'm sure you'll be able to give this forum and its members some valuable advice. :)

Hi Thomas it's great to see another person who writes for children. I want to write simple picture nooks to begin with :)
