    Computer vs TV

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by monkeymaster, Aug 6, 2009.

Which is better computer or TV? I personally think the computer is more fun because of RPing and well, this site.

Well, I must admit that I spent more than on the pc than in front of the TV... and yes, this site has got something to do with it... :p

I don't watch much TV, but I spend a depressing amount of my days off on the computer, so computer FTW.

Besides, you can watch some TV on the computer...so really it's like the best of both worlds! :D

My TV is utter crap. Virigin media need to be shot - it NEVER functions smoothly and constantly glitches so that I can't watch any TV shows without the screen randomly going blank or telling me that it's not available.

I can watch TV on my laptop - computer all the way! :D

I'll go for the computer as well. I dont watch much television anyway, and when I do --well, it's bound to end up on YouTube eventually. ;)

I can't choose between them. I am a computer junkie, so I couldn't live without it--this site in particular!! If I had never heard of this site, I'd say TV, but as it is, I'm torn. And I can't live without my Conan O'Brien daily fix, or The Soup, or American Idol. If I had to give those up, the world would end.

    I'm torn.

I have no idea. But people ask me that a lot, so I should find out.

I shun world of warcraft. Never played, never will. IMO it's nerdly, but if it floats your boats, so be it. :D

I've never played it, either. I mean, I'm a nerd...but not that kind of nerd.

Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with that kind of nerd, of course. I love all types of nerds.

Nerds amuse me. It's so funny to see them taking everything so seriously, like Star Trek. It's a TV show/movie, for gods sake.

Although what really makes me laugh is that this year at ComicCon, all the nerds had signs that said "Twilight ruined ComicCon". There are a ton of girls that LOVE Twilight, so they're shunning something that could make them extremely popular with girls. Don't they WANT dates?
