i know. or like when you are no talking to someone so you sit down going "huh" on the sofa, and no one notices. so you walk out of the room, the back in again and sit down with a "huh" once again, and you keep doing it until they notice that you are not talking to them.

A few weeks ago, I was using a mandoline slicer to slice onions thinly for scalloped potatoes. I don't use the handle until what I'm slicing is far enough down to be stable, and I waited one slice too long. I nipped off a slice from the tip of my right ring finger, and of course onion juice hit it immediately!

Yup, DOZ, I do know what you mean!

Yeah, it did. You might have heard some new "Words of the Day" even - I was swearing in every language I could!

I think I exposed the end of a nerve. Even though it's healed, that finger tip is a bit sensitive. But it was a very shallow slice, fortunately.

I have a bit of a lead foot. But I'm also pretty aware of my surroundings. Brake lights ahead generally tell me where the cruisers are, and I keep a good watch behind me as well.

You cannot have a birthday that is not loaded with Vitamin Ch!

I've only done 100+ MPH (not KPH) a couple times with my current car. Mostly to see how it would handle it.
