The book of changes- I ching

Discussion in 'Discussion of Published Works' started by StrangerWithNoName, Aug 20, 2011.

Out of curiosity, is any of you familiar with the book of ancient lore called "I ching"? Did you find it interesting? I became aware of the existance of this book through Dick's "The man in the high Castle" and then I got a copy; I heard that some writers use it to create the plotline, but I ignore how the exagrams can be used in that way.

I'm familiar with it, and would never use it as a substitute for dice.

Using a hexagram for a randomly directed meditation Is more my style, and the I Ching is fascinating in that regard.
