With a bucketfull of maggots, you DO want to be wearing plenty of bug repellent. I thought that part would be obvious.

And the maggots are the zombie repellent. :)

My grandma used to have a saying about people she couldn't abide. "He's enough to gag a maggot." Would a zombie ever be that disgusting to a carrion-eater? Food for thought, if you'll pardon the expression.

Why not simply spray a horde of zombies with some seasoning, a bit of ketchup, and a dollop of minced meat, and watch as those hungry corpses nibble away at each other instead of you. Who needs a shotgun when you've got mamma's home-made gravy?

Flamethrower, shotgun or rocket propelled chainsaw. Take your pick.

Well, here's where I might be able to help. The Hornady ammunition company already makes zombie rounds. In fact, I use them in my SIG P238 carry gun.

This is no joke, this is real ammunition. It just has a snot green ball in the hollowpoint instead of the traditional red one. It comes in a funny box.

Lots of companies are jumping on the zombie bandwagon. Ka-Bar makes a version of their Mule folding knife with snot green handles, and United makes a tactical axe in the same fashion. These are all quality products, only the color differs.

I've imagined the look of fear on a mugger's face when he asks for my wallet, I pull out the SIG, make my eye twitch like a whacko, and tell him I'm loaded for zombies...

Feed a zombie and he'll shuffle away. Some hours later, you'll join them.

Other real zombie weapons you can utilize in your stories:

Methinks these people are letting their imaginations run away with them . . .
How does this ever warrant investing in the packaging?

It's the same price as their traditional cartridges. It's just got a fancy box, and the little snot green ball in the hollowpoint (you'll see it just to right of the box resting on the pistol grip).

Some knife companies have an entire collection of zombie knives. One such set comes in its own zippered roll, like the butchering edges for deer.

So what's more strange, owning a few green handled knives, watching the TV drama, or writing the stories here?

Edit: This isn't spam, I don't rep for this company. I post it for instructional purposes only.

Do ammunition companies sell silver bullets for killing werewolves? It would be cool it they did! I don't currently own a gun, but I might buy some silver bullets just as bookshelf ornaments. Besides, you never know ...

    ;)

There is a type of hollowpoint called "Silvertips."
