    I don't see any clock

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Mans, Feb 6, 2014.

I don't see any clock in the writingForums to show the timezone. I think it is necessary the poster know, when they are posting their comment

    Thank you :)

    There is a clock :p

It reflects your time too, so everyone see's it relevantly to their own area time and not -5 or +3 hours or whatever.

GingerCoffee, maybe I couldn't say what I mean. I was in a website that it has a clock on the screen and it showed the time in America. So when I wanted to post a comment, I knew what time it is in America, whether the users are asleep or awake.

sorry, we don't have that here...

why don't you just set your computer clock for eastern or pacific US time?... that way, it'll show at the bottom of your screen and you can still keep your room clock, or wristwatch on your local time...

Having a website a clock is the simplest way for a user to know the time of the posters' activity in a web . It is more comfortable than I adjust my computer clock and have to convert the eastern time into the US time in my mind. Is it possible you add a clock to WF ? :)

If you'd like, you can go to timeanddate.com and set up a custom clock in a pop-up window. You can do it for any time zone, or even multiple time zones. That should help you out.

You can also use Yahoo Widgets and have a floating clock with the time you like that you can size to your needs and it doesn't alter your computer's internal timekeeping. I use this rather lush steampunk skin for mine. ;)
