    Recommendations Wanted: Thrillers and Techno-Thrillers

Discussion in 'Discussion of Published Works' started by Daedalus, Jan 9, 2009.

I'm a big fan of Tom Clancy's [earlier] works, have read most of Vince Flynn's series, loved Robert Ludlum's work before he passed, and have started Brad Thor's first novel, The Lions of Lucerne.

I love the Thriller genre. I'd like to know if there are any really good works that any of you can recommend. I know there are authors in this genre that I've never heard of, and I'm interested in expanding my reading beyond the big five or ten Thriller writers out there.

    Any recommendations?

    Thank you.

Thomas Harris' Hannibal Lecter trilogy is brilliant page-turning.

I've read a few books by Joseph Finder that were really good. He does corporate thriller stuff.

    High Crimes
    Power Play
    Paranoia
