Carmina, try reading this to get started and also make sure you read the premise of any RPG you want to join carefully to make sure the subject is of interest to you.

Once you do that you make a profile for your character that fits with what the Game Master has created (for instance you character has to fit with the time frame and genre given).

Once play has started you add to the story using only your character's point of view, as though you are writing fiction. You can't control another character unless the GM allows it for whatever reason.

Did anyone else notice that "Skarrans" is a lot like "Scarrans" (the evil alien race in the Sci-Fi show Farscape) or am I just extra geeky?

 

LOL!!! Close enough.. Skarrens as in Scavvies, scavengers. I loved Farescape too Cricton was top notch.

 

I didn't see that but I am guessing the Reavers came from Firefly.

Though the Skarrens are not Reptiles they are American and Canadian disendants.

I have greated a profile if that's ok, baring in mind the limited amount of placements. I have picked an English, for the sheer fact that i'm English lol.

The Appearance and Personality is based much on me, as this is my first character ever in the roleplay section, why not let it be me, Atleast i know how I and my character would react to certain scenarios

To be honest Raven, i wouldn't of guessed you was British.... oh no definitely not, what with English being fairly dominate in this game and also British island is still standing... HALLALLUJAH! lol

and errrrrrrrrrrrr americans are scavengers lmao what a massive role reversal (Not trying to offend any Americans, you are mostly good people just not the one who we shall not speak his name B***)
