    Server Issues?

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Gannon, May 8, 2007.

Does anyone else keep getting timed out of the site - you write a post and click to post then nothing until you are timed out. Is it the server this site uses not coping now there are more members or is something up with my computer(s)?

No Gannon I have been getting the same thing and I thought it was probably just me....a bit of a relief that it is happening to you too....I'm not crazy after all lol

But no it is happening to me, not sure why it happens though. Has happened a few times to me but usually goes away with time. Just be patient.

Ok well if it has happened to a few people than Lpspider should be informed and hopefully it sorts itself out in time anyways.

Well, not so sure about that...

It hasn't happened to me, but I have seen it on other forums. It is probably something to do with the server.

Just to let you know that this issue just happened again.

This time not whilst posting, whilst changing threads.

I was timed out the site then trying to re-enter the server appeared not to be able to access, whereas I could access other sites with abandon.

At this point I still don't know if it's my issues (though I use at least 2 computers regularly) or yours. Though others (at least a few) seem to have had similar problems in the past.

After flying round another couple of sites I was succesful in re-entering this one 5 mins or so later. All this about 16.20 - 16.25 (UK Local) - Don't know if you can pull off user stats and volumes for periods and see if that is what is affecting me?

Anyway just an FYI really - no gripe, just be better if it didn't happen!

    Kind Regards

hmmm.... thanks for keeping me updated.

Thing is, I'm not sure what more I can do aside from changing hosts.

I talked to some fellow forum admins and they seemed to think that it was the server, but that there wasn't much I could do about it.

However, the issue has been noted.

    Thanks,
    Daniel
