In college, for a while I had two roommates in one room of the fraternity. One of the roomies adopted a Great Dane named Bruce. It was like having an additional one-and-a-half roommates. Still, Bruce was far more welcome than the third roommate.
A dog, preferably a west highland terrier. I know some people will say that its a boring choice, but I'm naturally allergic to dogs and furry animals.
If you haven't ever had a dog, it's a great experience to get in to. I treat all animals like children though. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the formidable Sugar Glider. It fits in the palm of your hand, it's small and fluffy, and, it ****ing flies.
A sloth... I don't care if it gouges my eyes out, at least the last thing I see will be that layed back face...
An octopus, definitely. Not necessarily a giant land-dwelling one, just a regular, run of the mill Occy, in a big aquarium.
This is my dream pet. Her name is Sugar Raye (or, when she's being a meanie-head, Sugar-Booger), and if you are a fan of boxing, you might know that we named her after a famous boxer. Unsurprisingly, she is of the Boxer breed. She turned five in April, and she is the best pet dog friend that anyone could ever ask for. One day, I would like to own an American Akita. But because Akitas are fiercely loyal and fiercely territorial (like pitbulls and rottweilers, Akitas are on the high-risk list), they do not do well in apartment settings, which is where I will be living for the next decade or so... I will have one, one day though!
These are all amazing pets ! an octobus would be awsome but, as I am not a good swimmer I think a fantsy type land dweller of the average size would be best for me. a dragon might be a little hard to take care of but I would differntly be up for one. I could fly to school and cook an entire chicken in a quarter of a second ahh yeah that would be great. The flying squirel thing reminds me of the pet on samurai champloo and that thing was soo cute I woud love to have a real life version. the akita I had never heard of such a dog but, it looks so cute and freidly who knew it is so fecious. I think the best quality in a pet is loyalty so a dog is alway my top pick.
I want a mutt. Just a shepherd mix of some kind. A medium sized dog with pointed yet floppy ears and a smart, lovable personality. His name will be Rico. This is my plan for when I have enough money to care for a dog responsibly. As for the moment? My best bud's name is Pookie Bear and he's basically a dog in a cat's body. Transspeciesed?
