The sad part is, they probably have no idea that the world has moved on, and those attitudes are no longer accepted or tolerated much any more.

The probably don't see anything wrong with their way of thinking.

that is my only problem with old ppl, they r too stubborn and wont change their beliefs even if the times have changed. my grandparentsr the same way, and ive already disowned more than half my family, but they disowned me first so yea

Not all old people. And I have met some equally bullheaded youths.

yea, ur rite, i have met some good old ppl and some bullheaded youth, to use ur word, i am quite stubborn but i am fair too, many old ppl, no offence to anyone who is old, (in case ur wondering, i think old starts at the age of 70 lol) r too oldfashioned and cant move into the new world and its beliefs. cant teach an old dog new tricks i guess

At least your grandparents speak to you.

Mine haven't spoken to me since 2006.

    lol.

And my other grandparents died before I was born.

Honour the chaos in my opinion.

I beg to differ. I know tons of elderly people who I consider very good friends. They are cool about most stuff though some do accidently say racist things w/o meaning to do so. I guess no ones perfect though.

    -big hugs for eoz-

The parts of your soul you refuse to recognize.
I never met either of my grandfathers, and the mother on my mother's side I saw very rarely. The one on my father's side went really goofy towards the end...
    They're both dead now...

I don't really remeber either of them, other than my Grandmother went from a caring, loving woman to a complete witch.
