    Imposing ideas

Discussion in 'General Writing' started by Alesia, Dec 29, 2013.

As I work on the second revision of my MS for Rain When I Die, another story is slowly taking form revolving around a secretary trapped in the WTC on 9/11. The issue is, ideas for this story keep imposing on my narrative and ideas for RWID. Do you ever go through this? Need to concentrate on one story, but another keeps infringing?

Every writer probably does. I'd worry more if your imagination weren't tossing forth new ideas!

Jot them down and move on with your MS. Then revisit them when you are looking for a new project.
