Interviewed in Piqua Daily Call (Local Newspaper)

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by TWErvin2, Jan 16, 2010.

    Hey Writing Forums Folks,

Just thought I'd mention that I was interviewed for the Piqua Daily Call (a local newspaper). It's always interesting to read what makes it to print after talking for 45 minutes. I think it's a good article. Check it out:

Also, a big thank you to those who voted for my novel and also for Writingforums in the Preditors and Editors Poll. Flank Hawk finished in the top ten in three categories and writingforums finished lucky 13th.

Here is the preliminary results link if you're interested: Preditors & Editors Poll Results (prior to ant-ballot stuffing software being run). Final results are usually posted by March.

Good article, Terry. Your practice of the craft, perseverance and ultimate success stand as an inspiration for aspiring writers. I especially like how you've succeeded while going against the grain...mixed genres and written in first person. Hmmm...doesn't that make you a "hippy"...going against the establishment? LOL

Thanks, Rei, Hiddennovelist, Sandy and Marina! NaCl, being called a 'Hippy' is truly a rare thing...like maybe the second time in my life. :) But in the end, we are who we are, and I can live with that.
