I didn't just yell that out loud in capital letters.

So anyway, for some reason, there is something extremely wonderful about the smell of a paperback book. If you ruffle the pages, you get this musty old smell that totally takes your head. The contents and the actual words and the writing and everything are good and all that, but in my mind, the best bonus of a book is that smell.

    All of the above.
And they're easy to read while waiting at a bus stop, never run out of batteries, and are easily moved. Try doing all of that with a tv, laptop, or anything else electronic.

What I like most about books is that they can often be an escape from mundane reality…if only for a little while.

What I like most about books is that it allows me to escape to another reality. To become that character, to live with it and take something back from the words that are written. You live and breath someone's dream world and it also inspires me. Thats one of the many reasons why I like books.
