Hey guys, so I'm taking one small step for nerds, one giant leap for nerd kind! I, the typically shut off book worm (also known as that creep who lives in Costa all year- yeah, I'm on 'Sabbatical') and jumping ship and actually engaging in the real world. That's write, I thought it would be an interesting idea to go to a local writers meet up here and well, see what's what. I've not submitted any of my work, I thought I'd just come along as a member of the crowd, which plenty of others do too, but I'm just wondering what words of wisdom or advice would you guys have?
