They think the T-Rex was a scavenger now? But, it's all big 'n' scary 'n' strong. And it's got sharp teeth, right?? So weird...

There are dinosaurs that are much larger than T-Rexes :) While the T-Rex is everyones favorite, and often, is a powerhouse, there are several things to take not in. They still sometimes believe that the T-Rex couldn't see you if you didn't move, while the story changes sometimes and says it could see clearer than any carnivore. This was also demonstrated in all three movies to change, and be inaccurate.

Another inaccuracy was that veliciraptors were six feet tall. That is actually inaccurate. At the time, they had believed that because of how the bones to a partial velici were so identical to the others they had found, but after the movie, and first book were created, the information was called inaccurate and changed, because it was actually a different dinosaur completely. They figured it out by the spine, and how it was build for the head of something larger than the modeled size they had created from the partial veliciraptors.

Now, we know that veliciraptors were actually much smaller, about the size of three to five feet, but rarely five feet. They were still very strong, fast, smart, and deadly, but as for taking down a T-Rex? - Only in packs. They are to believed as large pack dinosaurs.

For the purpose of the game, and since the majority of all Jurassic Park fans will only know the veliciraptors as the 6 foot killing machine, I may allow it to be as people once thought. They speculate heavily now that the veliciraptors actually had feathers on it's body as well, raptor meaning birds of prey.

Some school did some math on the subject and stated that if the T-Rex was a scavenger he'd have died out quickly due to lack of food around. Plus the teeth are curved back for "griping" Which is not usualy seen in scavenger animals. So i don't care what they say they won't have me beliveing in an EMO T-REX! LOL.
The reason they think it might be a scavenger is that some other group did some math and said if the T-Rex tripped while running that the predicted 70 MPH it would break it's neck.
It's also belived though that T-Rex's where the smartest Dino's around. Smarter than Raptors and such.

It all depends on which theories you go by. :) I've heard the opposite on intelligence, and when researched, not many credible sources say it was the smartest.

I've heard the same :) Though, again, everything is speculation. :) We have no clear evidence on how smart or dumb any animal was without being able to take a clear look at the brain matter itself. We can only assume, and everyone knows what assuming means. It makes an 'ass' outta 'u' and 'me.'

:) We'll see. Some of the smaller herbivores are very friendly, as speculation goes to show. When a few of them get older, they get aggressive, but otherwise, they're pretty mellow. Let me think about it. :)

This is survival :) Keep that in mind.

:D lol - We'll see. The one thing I am requiring is that we stick to the 25 dinosaurs I have picked for this exercise, that way everyone has a direct link to it if they need. No one, even me, will bring in a 26th dinosaur.

Ok i think we need someone to play a really bad A$$ female charicter just to off center all of the nerdy learned males that are going to be around. LOL, we're going to have debates and lecture the dino's to death. LOL. Well at least we have one huge black guy to protect us all LOL.

Titania is going to be a female, she just hasn't completed her bio completely :) But, that is true. We do need more female characters. I sense a sausage fest going on right now.

Well at least when your char is running away from the dinosaur NAKED (LOL I read the other thread) there will be to many females around to be blinded.

Yeah, I have a tendency to end up naked somehow. Don't ask me, it happens I guess.

You can if you wanna Bick, though it's not required if you don't want to.

Haha, true Chad :p Maybe we can all join him in a dinosaur streaking.

Oasis, you sure it's not because you're a nudist? :p

Eh. If I can think of a character, I'll change to a female xD I'd have to change my child too :p That almost seems like too much work.

You don't have to change your child. He can still be the black kid from the block :)

    Might :p

I have a hard time seeing a T-Rex fly. I know they're more like birds, but still.
