    Just saying 'hello'

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Adora Belle, Nov 15, 2014.

I'm a Terry Pratchett fan, so I took my username from one of his characters in Going Postal and Making Money. I haven't read Raising Steam yet, but it's definitely on my list.

I write Low Fantasy, mostly, and am just starting the querying process with a new project.

Other favourite authors include Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Adams, John Fowles and many, many more. I read across a broad range of genres and also love a good mystery, especially anything to do with the supernatural or occult.

Hi Adora, and welcome to the forum! :)

Here's our New Member Quick Start Guide to get you started.

I haven't heard the term low fantasy before. I'm imagining the opposite of high fantasy with less fight acrobatics and less obvious magic. Sounds interesting nonetheless. :)

    Anyway, see you around!
