Throughout all the writing lectures, classes, and panels I've been to, that term seems to always have been used at least once. What are some examples of a larger than life character? What's the difference between them, and normal characters?
When a character is extreme in ways that make you roll your eyes, they're "unrealistic." If they're extreme in ways that make you fascinated and eager to watch them, they're "larger than life." That's how I see it, anyway.
