She want's to become a breatharian, a goal that has killed at least four people. The first was actually a Darwin Award winner.

Is Breatharianist a synonym for Airhead?

Note that samples from the long tail of the Bell curve (in this case, the ones who might be challenged if asked to spell Bell curve) do not speak to the average intelligence of humanity.

Yes, and if they have breast implants, they are considered airbags.

While you may not agree with her ideas, I wouldn't be so quick to pass her and others of a similar mindset off as "dumb" or crazy. I find that school of thought to be a bit short-sighted and unimaginative.

Sure the idea of living solely on "divine light" and air is far-fetched by our understanding, but it is part of a world view/human history perspective that I find at least somewhat more viable than certain other belief systems. I don't quite buy the whole "light-eater" thing, which is the idea that someday we will re-evolve and become dependent solely on light, but I don't know. For the time being I prefer to push it to the back of my mind because I do think humans could have possibly originated as beings of light, what some might call spirits and others would surely call myth and crazy-talk.

If anything, it is entirely foolish to practice breatharianism in our current physical state. As for whether or not we'll evolve to that state, there is no indication in mainstream science... perhaps in pseudoscience, according to some things I've read. Regardless, I'll continue living on physical substance for my physical body. I've got no reason to call her dumb, just extreme.

How dare you guys judge this woman for her beliefs. Maybe she's right, or does her unique appearance threaten you because it doesn't conform to what we perceive to be the standard?

Hmmm given people have died from starvation for this set of beliefs...and that she wants to be like a fictional character that is portrayed by a kids doll. I really can't see anything wrong with that.

Why couldn't she have picked Barbie's younger sister Skipper?

Umm. What? So her appearance of a skeleton is healthy? Her ideal to change her body appearance to look like something else that she isn't is considered normal somewhere?

Huh. This a revelation! Everyone let us all change our appearances to look like Ken Dolls! Let us all get plastic surgeries and destroy our natural looks and make ourselves become plastic!

Thank you person on the internet for changing my view!

If anyone's got 20 minutes to use, I suggest this video, just to get to know her side of things. Otherwise, look her up a little more so you can learn why she does what she does.

    http://www.vice.com/my-life-online/space-barbie-full-length

Edit to add: Basically she's alwas had a doll-like appearance, she has just taken it to a more extreme level. Why? well, she says she uses her physical appearance to attract attention and listeners with whom she can share and promote her ideas of spirituality. Say what you will about her spiritual ideas, her intentions are good based on what she says.

You do know that dumbness is 1000% genetic, right? No one chooses to be dumb.

That's not true, because so many people like this woman are so dumb that they do things to kill their self. So all the other dumb people that live long enough to copulate and reproduce, must become dumb through environmental factors.

So if its not genetic then you have nothing against two dumb people getting married. I think we're getting somewhere with you!
