    New Job

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by LordKyleOfEarth, Mar 24, 2012.

After 6 years working in a gear-shop the impending arrival of twins has necessitated that I grow up and start a real career. Today I accepted a new job, my first real professional gig, as a Grants Coordinator for a local branch of a national non-profit organization. I'm pretty excited (and a little pensive) about the new opportunities and responsibilities. The best part is that I will, in theory, have more spare time on my hands and thus I should be able to get some writing done. It puts my wife and I in a little bit of a tight spot, as her job is almost 2 hours away from mine, but I'm sure things will work out for the best in the end. I guess I'm a totally different type of "Professional Writer" now :)

    Well, first thing first, congrats.

Second, twins? You poor, poor thing. Free time will be none existent if they're anything like me and my sister were. :)

Minstrel, I suppose writing my woes into fiction will have to do. Kay, it won't be so bad. My brother and I are twins as well :D
