    Language Question

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by jeffm, Mar 11, 2012.

I have a short piece I've been getting ready to post for review in the next week or so (it still needs a few more passes), but before I do I want to make sure it is appropriate for these forums. It is a science fiction piece involving a group of soldiers on an operation, so it has some cursing in it. Is will this be an issue? Is it ok if I just flag it as having some profanity in the title?

The language isn't overly vulgar, mostly just expletives during action oriented situations. I can probably edit it out for review but I feel that it is part of the work. I don't think any soldier could believably say "Oh my golly gosh, that poopy-head is shooting at me!"

    Thanks.

If it is approximately at a USA PG-13 movie rating, it should be fine. Other than that, see the site rules for specific restrictions.

Thank you. I was not sure if the site rules were about the writing, conversions, or both, so that clears it up for me.

It's probably a little over PG 13 but I can probably tone it down to something reasonable.

    Thank you.
