    Last meal

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by wordwizard, Mar 15, 2007.

If you could choose you last meal on earht-what would it be?

Mine would be a hot turkey sandwich...with gravy and stuffing and extra cranberry sauce.mmmm and mashed potatoes. I usually order this meal at white spot-just so you all know.

An all you can eat 24 hour Chinese buffet.
I'd eat slowly but steadily with frequent bathroom breaks. Drawing it out so long I'd either collapse or go mad from lack of sleep.
That way I won't care that I'm about to die.

i would have a HUGE bowl of spaghetti bolegnaise followed by a chocolate waffle cake, it is absolutly amazing, i have it every time i go for a meal in this one pub, lmaoo.

although i think it would be cool if my last meal was a dish that i had made myself. (even though i cannot cook much.)

Hmmmm I would have to say I would want a 4 course meal.

Begin with a nice home made vegetable soup, with fresh french stick loaded with butter. A really nice bottle of Savignion Blanc.
Then the main meal. Crayfish, Dewfish, Snapper, Prawns, Scallops, and a really nice salad to go with it all literally dripping with fresh lemon juice. Again with a nice bottle of white wine, can't think of one though damn it.
Then for desert. Vanilla chop chip swirl ice-cream with fruit salad and loads of chocolate toppins and sprinkles, and a nice big home made apple pie. Maybe a nice hot drink this time. Like a few dozen cups of coffee so that I get to endulge in its lovely splendor before I die.
Then comes the last thing I will ever have, a few bottles of Jack Daniels and a whole heap of chocolate.

Now who could ask for a better last meal huh!?

Now I am hungry damn it........

A really nice juicy steak with brussel sprouts and roast potatoes with Martini on tap and some mustard sauce on the side.

Dessert would be Death by Chocolate of course.

Nah - Your last meal should be totally indulgent. What's it going to do, kill you someday?

I would have a medium rare sirloin crown filet with crumbled blue cheese and a portabello mushroom on top, with a lobster tail, a baked potato (with butter and sour cream), green beans with butter and garlic, and strawberry milkshake :p

hahahahahah that sounded like an awesome meal.

    how about...
starting with french onion soup with mounds of mozza cheese(my favorite soup) then
smoked salmon with cream cheese on a crusty french bread base.
The main course would be a roast dinner with no fat, but still juicy with roasted potatoes and candied carrots and turnip, and lots of gravy and mashed potatoes.
then...for desert there would have to be a warm fudge browny with nuts on top and hot fudge sauce drizzled over...and vanilla icecream to break up the richness in between bites......
sigh* all topped off with a (few) Mojito drink(s)

For an appetizer course, tea leaf eggs topped with Beluga caviar, and a plate of four seasons shao mai (open topped steamed chinese dumplings).

For a soup course I would choose lobster bisque.

I think I would also go for lobster for the man dish - perfectly cooked so it is tender and sweet, with lemon butter, with steamed fiddlehead ferns, and fresh popovers.

As much as I like brownies, I'd have to have a cloud-fluffy tiramasu garnished with chocolate covered espresso beans and dusted with cocoa powder for dessert.

Yeah, mr fancy pants!?!?!! :p Are you a chef or soething Cogito?

And I indulge every day so why would it be indulging? I think something like a medium rare scotch fillet steak, a nice garden salad, mushroom sauce gravy with a few chips (well, gotta have something normal right?) a scrummy potato bake, caulifour and cheese, maybe some cabbage and bacon, some rissoles that are nice and juicy.
All of this is basically two meals, but oh well, for somethign to drink I would have a bottle of coke zero a glass of ice and a bottle of vodka smirnoff. With a straw.

Desert would be triple choc icecream. Or a couple of rainbow paddle pops.

    Are you happy now???? :p

Not a chef, but I do enjoy cooking and eating good food. For a last meal, why not go for the best?

Why not eat something like penguin... or some endangered species? Hey, if I've got to go, I'm taking an entire race down with me.
