the aftermath of ww1 left germany a bleak , bitter place ...great for writing with somber hues ... you will wear out every shade of gray in your crayon box....ya dig ?
I don't even have to include Hitler. It's in 1915, right? Hitler would most likely be fighting in WWI. Of course, people will know what would happen in a few years (readers, I mean), and there will be folks in Germany that are anti-Semetic.
by 1915 there was a huge anti semantic rubbling ..why 1915 ?...what year did ww1 end ?....was not fingers pointed at the jews for the defeat ?..hitler did not invent the sentiment , hitler exploited sentiment
I haven't even started it yet, but the beginning goes something like this: Helga peered into the library, where young Otto was leaning against a bookcase reading a moldly book in his hands. She smiled sadly. He reminded her so much of herself when she was his age. She fingered the Mauser in her pocket and her heart froze. Did she really need to do this? But the visions were clear, so precise. The boy would suffer greatly in the near future. Pulling the Mauser out of her pocket, she aimed it at Otto's head. "Farewell, my friend....forgive me..." she muttered, tears streaming down her eyes. She pulled the trigger. Otto's body flinched, then crumpled lifelessly on the ground.
Wow, Link, quite the sober subject. You make me regret that I don't know more about WWI. But keep me updated on this, I really like the progression of your idea, intriguing!
Well, to be honest, I don't know that much about WWI either. =) I mean, I know how it happened, what happened, and how that lead into WWII, but that's pretty much it.
Wow! I didn't know that. Very interesting. I also heard that the person who taught him how to perform speeches was also Jewish..
1915 --- The FED was just erected in 1914. The secret move is to get the Americans dragged into WWI (which happened in 1917) - to enrich a number of families in the US. The trigger for declaring war on Germany by the US was the assault on the Lusitania by U-boats (German submarines), May 1915. This was provoked. Maybe you can connect the shooting at the boy to this alleged conspiracy somehow? http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/lusitania.htm
