Leaka your writing in English is very good. Even if you do use spell check. That is not cheating that is smart thinking. Ask Dom how easy it is to teach english to non english speakers and he will tell you it is darn hard. too many words sound the same but have totally different meanings and spelling. And different countries spell the same word differently. neighbour (canadian) neighbor (american) so don't knock yourself out trying to get it right all at once. Remember english speakers have had their entire lives to learn the hardest language in the world.
Thank you Lessa for the wonderful piece of advice. I don't try to knock myself out...that would be silly of me. But I do get upset especially when words sound the same and are spelled differently. Thats my biggest problem. Those words that they needed to fit and just misspelled it and called it a new word.
I got a wristwatch and socks. What I really wanted was manga but I'll have to wait until I see my friends to get any (dammit).
I got new underwear cuz I needed some so I asked for some. Either I'm overly-conservative, a dork, or a public-aid child.
I believe Cicero meant create music... right? Something more like Fruity Loops, Logic Pro 7, or Sony Acid.
I got a nice zip up hoodie, a loose tea travel mug, a coffee travel mug (apparently I am on the go a lot) a book, a electric knife, some tupperware, a hand held vaccum(what are those called again? dust buster???) a beautful frame, comfy socks, some oven gloves, and some chocolates. I did pretty good. oh! and a shirt.
I got plane tickets back to my college... slept and/or stayed in my room through most of the celebration. Relatives were over, and they annoy me. My little sister got a Nintendo Wii and Super Mario Galaxy.
I was given 2 Barnes & Noble gift cards, 1 gift card to Half-Price books, (I suppose everyone knows I like books and am a royal pain in the rear to shop for), some Godiva truffles, a suede jacket, 3 new pair of jeans, and a fantastic pair of boots.
Oh, yes. Especially the dark chocolate champagne truffles. They are a real splurge for me, since I normally eat no refined sugar, but once or twice a year they are definitely a gastronomical orgasmic experience.
Best things I got were Guitar Hero III, a Tibetan Buddhist statue, a few boxsets, an incense kit, more charms for my charm bracelet and some great books, mostly on animals. I also got a great jewelry box, a new necklace, a gorgeous pen and some new earphones. I can't remember what else.
