I have lost the love for any characters thanks to "of mice and men" (we had to read it in English). he kills of Curley's wife and Lennie which just makes me think that a troubled character cannot live. but none of my characters have ever been anything but troubled. they all lose something close to them. any help on how to find my characters?
thanks cogito - i do think the reason of mice and men upset me so much is cause i connected with curleys wife i saw the book through her eyes.
Troubled characters are always seeking redemption of some kind. Couldn't hurt once in awhile to actually let them find it.
