    Blog Posts

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Rickie writes, Mar 31, 2008.

What is the difference between a blog post and a post?

If they are different how do I post on the blog?

The blog on this website works like most other blogs. The blog is located on the right part of the screen. Whenever I want to post one, I click on someone elses blog, and on the left part of that screen, there's an option to post to your blog.

The primary difference is that blogs are chained to the member who started them, whereas posts are collected under public forums and grouped roughly by topic.

Blogs therefore have a far more personal flavor.

So all I have to do is click start a blog and I'm set.

I'll go back and read some now.

Why would I want to "start a blog?"

I'm naive on all this stuff.

Well, you might want to start a blog if you have something you want everyone to know.

I use mine for a portfolio of writing I consider pretty much completed, and also for writing/reviewing articles or notes.

Other people use them as a place to journal life experiences, including how they are progressing on writing projects.
