Need help with my fiction writing course

Discussion in 'General Writing' started by CherryBirch, Jan 17, 2013.

    Hi Guys,

So I am new to the site and I am looking for some help with my Fiction Writing Course.

    The question being asked is:

Explain the style of communication of at least 3 short stories from at least 2 different writers.

I couldn't get my head around what my tutor actually wanted out of the question so when I asked he wants me to explain the style of communication by way of first, second person narrative, which I now understand but how would I explain this without repeating myself throughout the essay as all three stories I have read are all in the third person.

    Thanks, Cherry.

If you take a look at the site rules, you'll see that we won't do your school assignments for you. This is truly something you need to discover by digging into different authors' work.

You'll get far more from the course that way.

And, just as an addendum, consider expanding your reading for the course to include books not in third person POV. You'll get more from the course that way, too!

Plenty of book written in first person, or omnipresent
