    A short kind of introduction

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Whydoyouneedaname, Mar 4, 2008.

I am made of words and I more alive whenever I write even if I just living inside and never going out.
    I live in books.
    I love in words.
that's all you need to know about me.
    the rest is insignificant.
I am a writer I breathe this art.

Don't let it get to your head too much. In the end it's just a story.

You can't spend all of your time writing, can you? If you do, how are you supposed to know what to write about?

Hello Why, Welcome to the Writing Forums.

Be careful about breathing the art - sometimes it can be quite toxic!

If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well!

As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information.

Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!

Heyur Why, welcome to Wf.org. I know the feeling about your writing being your life, it can seem like sometimes, whether by choice or not in some cases. Just remeber it is to be enjoyed to, not just slave away over.

Anyways, I am Heather and can normally be found around here every day and if you would ever like something reviewed, need any help of simply want to chat then send a PM my way and I'll see what I can do. Hope to see you around here more often and enjoy it here.
    Heather
