Basically I go by anything that doesn't insult me But I'm sure you guys aren't that mean. Anyway, I'm going to slingshot right into the purpose of this to improve role-playing. And want to ask if anyone is up for a fantasy role-play involving cats? Yeah, I feel welcome already.
Welcome to Writing Forums, Frogpuppet! I hope you find what you're looking for here, whatever your interests in writing. This forum aims to provide the best workshopping resources on the internet, and to that end we have a few rules which you should familiarise yourself with before you get stuck in. The main section of the site is the Writing Workshop, where members can post their writing in order to receive critique of their work. However, before we allow members to post their work, they must have met some basic requirments. Firstly, you must have been a member for fourteen days, and have made twenty posts on the forum overall (please note, posts in Word Games do not count towards this). This is so that members, when they post their work, have familiarised themselves with the forums and contributed to them (as well as hopefully learned something for themselves). Secondly, members must provide two constructive reviews of other people's work for each piece of their own that they wish to post. This is because we believe that the focus of workshopping should be equally upon giving reviews as receiving them, as they allow a writer to practice and improve their editing skills, which they can then apply to their own writing. Beyond the Writing Workshop, you will find that we have extensive forums for discussion of aspects of writing, as well as a community area for general discussion. We also run periodic short story and poetry contests, which are good for challenging yourself and expanding your skills. If you have any questions or problems, then the moderators (myself, Cogito, Lemex and Dante Dases) should be your first port of call. Any technical problems with the site itself should be directed to Daniel, the site administrator and owner. I would recommend you have a look over the rules so that you know what to expect, and what is expected. But aside from that, I hope you enjoy your time here. Banzai
I'd love to start a role-play in a fantasy setting! I'm not a very big fan of cats in fantasy, but we should talk about starting something. (Cats can be involved. ;D ) PM if you are interested!

Admin, first of all, can I ask why are you called Admin? And thats ok, I'm sure it'll be fun to trying something new. For me, I role-played cats tonnes, but fantasy is a very new interest for me.
I am called Admin because I chose to be called Admin. In some ways I am the Admin of my own life. In other ways, I am the Admin of other people's lives. But to you Admin is simply a name bestowed upon me because it is what I typed within the text-box dedicated to my username. Dunno why I chose it. It's not even my favored username. But it is what it is.
I was just wondering, I was a bit misconducted by your user name, and though you were a administrator. Apologies. Anyway, for the role-play would you be fine with fantasy cats? Because thats what I like to write about most usually.
No need to apologise. I admit my username can be misleading. I was thinking of requesting a change. Maybe to something like, say, Antoine. But back to business. I would love to RP in a fantasy setting involving cats! Just PM and we can maybe get some ideas flowing.

Oh and guys, I've been browsing the forum for two days now, and the forum rules. Some of them I don't quiet comprehend, so maybe a little ellaboration would be helpful XD Its just so different here on this site, in my previous forum, everyone made threads [OOC or IC] and other people just jumped in, usually the threads had no structure but people wanted to see where the story ended. And threads didn't need approved by staff, rather removed if it didn't abide by the site rules. I was a staff on this previous site, a full Mod. It was a huge site though. XD
