    Hi. . .

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Baki, Apr 10, 2016.

I'm new here, but I came to meet new people and learn how to go about crafting a book.

But yea. . . How does it do? Anyone writing some cool stories? I want to know what others are up to.

Hello! Welcome to the forum. I always enjoy a colorful character.
I''m writing a book about mythology and folklore. It's kind of based around Australia being a heavily multi-cultural immigrant country. Going to post a chapter 4 excerpt here soon. Do you wanna give it a read?

    Thank you! And sure!
I haven't read many stories about folklore, so it'd be something new for me to read.

    Hi! I am also new^^
So far, I am happy to see that the people here are pretty positive.
Right now I am about to tackle a book that takes place in 1961 during the period of the Berlin Wall, which I am getting more and more intimidated by the more I procrastinate.
Typically I write more adventure type things. I like demons and a nice grim ambiance over most of my work, so I am not quite sure why I decided on a historical fiction. But I guess we will see how it goes.
Currently the single bright orange sticky note on my wall is calling to my attention, and I think it's about time I added some more sticky notes of ideas to my wall... (You know, plotting)
What do you like to write?

Hi, there! That sounds cool actually. I don't know much about the Berlin Wall myself, but from what I remember from history class it was a dark time period. I bet you'll have a lot to write on it though! I wish you the best of luck! :bigtongue:

I tend to like writing about metaphorical things and symbolism, typically with non human characters involved.

    That sounds pretty darn cool.
And thanks for the support! I'm excited to see more of your work.

Cool cat. Welcome. Myths are what I read most as a kid. Good stuff. Great imagery.
