    Nihao! Nihao!

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Kid At <3, Dec 20, 2007.

My name is Xai Xai Xi!

I have a weird name! Some people call me Triple X, and others call that inappropriate...

As you can see, I'm new here. I'm going to read other people's work in... 3...2...1...BLAST OFF!

Btw, I love meeting new people, so if anyone wants to message me, that would make my day even more fantastic!

    Thanks for your time! :)

Hello Xai Xai Xi, Welcome to the Writing Forums.

    Is Xai your given name?

I like my coffee, and I like hazelnuts, but never again the twain shall meet in the pot if I'm brewing it.

If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Writing Workshops, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well!

As for the Writing Workshops, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Writing Workshops on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work. See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information.

Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!

    Thank you for the welcome!

I'm already a couple steps ahead of you! I already reviewed two, and I'm not stopping now! Remember the blast off? lol

And to answer your question, Xai is my last name, and Xai Xi is my first name!

Ah...I like your name for some reason! So it's pronounced Skai Ski, or Shy Shi? I learnt a couple of words in Chinese, but I'm a total dud at it...
Welcome anyhow, enjoy yourself and once again thanks for the review. God, I'm welcoming you after taking a review? ...Cool.
