    Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz

Discussion in 'Discussion of Published Works' started by Silque, Jul 22, 2008.

Just finished reading this and what a read.

Absolutely superb book, from start to end, you are drawn into Odd's little world. The town of Pico Mundo is instantaneously vivid in ones mind and you long to be there helping him out.

There are some funny moments along the way, as well as some very unpleasant and upsetting ones too.

    Brilliant though. Must read.

Yes it was good, and the second one is good also. But I hated the ending of the first one.

Have you tried Dean Koontz Fear Nothing and Seize the Night? It is written in first person also. I bet you cannot help but fall in love with Christopher Snow.

    Definitely, an amazing read.

Yeah, the first one sent me disappointed after turning the final page, but (without giving anything away), I'm glad for what "it" has done for the story. Makes it more personal, I think.

Can't wait for the 4th in paperback :)
