How fast is the game play? As I recall last time you had an RPG you were rarely there and um...it died. Will this RPG have the same affect?
All you can do is join and discover for yourself whether its a go or not. All games and GMs get a fair chance some games make it some don't.
I understand that, but I was interested in his last one and when it die on me I was like poo I want to play this one as well, but I don't want it to die. I like when GMs RPGs are alive. And I am sure GMs like when their RPGs are alive as well.

Acess to just about anything since most of the world is based around the Com and the Chaos Hour dosen't have the limits that are active during regular hours so they can essentially change the world through the Chaos Hour. We can write in background information, but won't this kinda give a hint as to what group we'll end up in? Or did you want us to wait until we're PMed to put up profiles? You canw rite up general background information before and even after being PMed your roles. Second, is everything in this game going to be based entirely in the Com? or will there be a balance of 'real life' and the Com? Based entirely in the Chaos Hour. Yeah, you can pretty much add your own powers in addition to any abilities your role may give you. And is our only aim to kill each other? Depends on your role. Neutrals just want to survive, so they don't HAVE to kill. Lurkers want to get rid of the Spots so they have total control(they don't care about the neutrals) Spots want to get rid of everyone in the Chaos Hour so they HAVE to kill everyone else. And what kind of background information do we write? Just an in general, personality, history, etc. It's optional anyway.
LOL. Thanks for the answers, mate. Be advised that I see this as being similar to the Matrix. And I'm gonna be designing my character as such. That said, I'm wondering if I should try playing a girl again? Opinions?
ok, so... i've never RPGed before... you take newbies, yeah? haha~ i'm really interested in this storyline. as for my question about this game: basically the two places are the Mainframe and the Chaos Hour, right? Can a character go in and out of the chaos hour at his own discretion, does he need to be in a specific place to get back out to the mainframe?
I believe the mainframe is a subset of The Chaos Hour. J Random End User can see only the basic things in the Com, but someone in the Chaos Hour sees waaaaay more. I think....
@67: Dont worry about that. I've only been on the scene for about 2 weeks. I just joined the forums and threw myself at the mercy of the RP forum. The continent is my first RP here and I'm doing well as far as I'm aware lol. @Teele: Go for it im enjoying doing something different as Kitty in the Continent its interesting playing a different character. And it also reminds me of the matrix i wonder why lol ok now to get my full profile up opposed to just a name and age

LOL. Well, I have a female up for now, but I'm still gonna bide my time, see what happens, and maybe switch over to a dude if we end up with more girls.
I've gotta stop writing damaged characters. Kittys upset about killing her mum, this guy Simon is divorced and my one lined up for Crystand is going to be someone that left his own tribe and lives the life as an outcast in others cultures.
indeed they do but maybe i should choose a slightly different Archetype next time wait come to think of it in 51 my guy was suffering from PTSD after 2 of his friends died and he blamed himself for it despite been involved in a war. They say you chooose characteristics from yourself my god i must be damaged and enjoy beating myself up haha!
LOL. For sure. Gives you something to write about in those lax times when there's little/no interaction.
