That's alright, we'll probably have you go on leave or something for a bit then. How long will you be gone for?

I was debating the same thing. Of course, it's only the evening for Lebby...

I'm kind of leaning towards sleep though.

Well I think NGR basically gave the perfect lead in for Jon to post. SO in other words, I'm off to bed.

    That's an excellent idea Mingo.

Headroller, you're going to Hawaii and actually entertaining the notion of trying to play? Wow, that's dedication right there. Lucky dog.

edit: now that I think about it, the space station might be a bad place to hunt for spies, but I wanted to throw a mission at you guys quick before you start getting bored again. Let me figure this one out, I'll try to keep it entertaining at the least.

Just so that you guys know, the Martians in Pax are not little green men, they are descendants of the humans that colonized Mars in the twenty-first century. One player made a reference to them being alien, they're quite human 0__0

They're warlike because they had a military coup within the lifetime of Pappy and have had a militaristic totalitarian dictator since. They have a major inferiority complex when it comes to Earth, and being close neighbors with the most powerful world in the Commonwealth, have insecure feelings of inadequacy

lol, well there probably wont be much to do at night... if im unlucky ;)

thanks for the martian tidbit, i think i made the alien reference but since theyre not from earth directly... *shrug* so it seems that mars is earth's spiteful and unthankful son? lol

As for the spy in the station issue, why don't you make him an especially aggressive and destructive spy. In a war, especially between full planets, hundreds or maybe a thousand spies would be completely relevant. Just make this one an especially harmful one towards our cause, such as being in the space flight control area where our choice ship will be, thus causing it to be our problem. Searching for one spy in a station of millions, maybe even a billion people would be inane.

And the fact that there are multiple spies concerned with our group's failure, that are clearly due to the martians, maybe this is evidence to total war opening up between the planets. =/

Just throwing my two sense out there. You could always throw us a pile of curveballs. haha

oh dear, that does sound like a promising direction...

I completely forgot about the sabotaging angle to the spy and took it in a different direction:mad:

maybe it's not too late to save that plot element:rolleyes:

"The woman has a point. Who's in charge of the investigation? Lt, Sarge, maybe we can help out once we speak to Commander Littleman." The tall and rugged one said.

"It's Littlefield son, Lieutenant Commander Littlefield. And do you see three chevrons going up anywhere on my uniform, boy? I'm a dang Master Chief, for love's sake, these midshipmen..." Pappy said, a little annoyed.

whups... i was thinking marine ranks: master sgt. lol

    btw, i love the Commander's nickname :D

I imagined the Athena as kind of looking like Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle's INSS MacArthur from "Mote in God's Eye" as imagined and built from scratch by series fan Christopher Doll. She's got a huge rotating mid-section to simulate gravity, a nose containing the sensor packages, bridge, Communications tower, etc. The crew lives mostly in the center, the reactors are at the rear of the ship to minimize radiation exposure, and the scorching torch engines are dead last.

Wait so the first mission is going onto this experimental ship with the spy onboard, going to a meteor belt and then nabbing him? Why don't we do it now? They seem to know who it is.
    Sorry im confuzzled :S
