I have been thinking about a idea for the last few days and I'm not sure what to think. It starts as a murder in Cuba, on a beach and it is somehow connected back in London. I'm trying to work out why this murder has happened and for this killer to do something so nasty, it would put people in England and Cuba on edge. And also, I don't if it should be a novel or a short story series. Maybe I should think about it a bit more.
Before you start with the format, give yourself time to work out the skelaton first. Then decide on the format. I find it easier to get a rough vision of the plot and characters before i decide novel, short story or anything in between. Focus on the story before worrying about anything else
