place names - quotation marks or italics?

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by babybubbles, Jan 5, 2010.

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me if place names (like Lenny's Bar, The Coffee House) have to be highlighted by italics or quotation marks/inverted commas?

What about street names? Italics or nothing at all?

    Many thanks!

    s.

Leave them naked. No italics, no quote marks. The capitalization suffices to in dicate a proper name.
