    Self-portrait as a Young Man

    Who are you, dear painter,
    whose eyes hide in shade,
    whose hair is atumble,
    whose cheek is ablaze?

    Adumbrate's two meanings:
(Did the Dutch say it so?)
    to cast light into darkness,
    or to brighten as snow.

    Both finds the eye,
through a wander o' your face.
    Each wed your canvas,
    though somewhat out of place.

    Who are you, young man,
    whose lips purse in speech?
    Pray tell us your religion,
    of the chiaroscuro you preach.

    Miss Havisham

Torn drapes of fine white lace
Thick with dirt and empty hate
A filthy angel fallen from grace
Strings of pearls mangle and strangle
Alabaster silk that shone like marble
Happiness now we burn to charcoal

Now I rage and storm and thunder
Table laid with gold and silver
A breakfast feast of rotten wonder
    Spiders tangle webs through candles
Never lit and kept in time
Clock on the wall to never chime

So I await my funeral knells
Draw the curtains, let silence fall
Never again to hear wedding bells
Putrid bouquets bloom sorrow and doom
    Retire into the festering darkness
Blackest of hearts, we now entomb

    Beyond the Darkness

From where I stand I appear to be white,
Kind and warm-hearted all the time,
They may not pass the grey lock,
    Which wraps around my brain,
For what's imprisoned there is strange,
Inside my mind there lies in the darkness,
The little beast that dances and prances,
Beats on his chest, while chanting his war chants,
I cry to my God, but the beast cannot be defeated,
So I keep him locked in my head,
And accept him as my feelings,
    My ego? Insecurity?
    Coming back to torture me?
    For there cannot be life,
Without the little beast that rests and dances on your mind,
    Tell yourself you're fine,
    As he drives you crazy,
And sits on his throne of bones and lies,
    Beyond the darkness,
    Where all men fall.

The Black, White and the Grey

    Sounds like a Gothic cliche

Automatically people want to run away

When they see those colors being worn by a individual

They're definitely the opposite of subliminal

    To judge them is stereotypical

If you ask me, we can arrange a miscible

    To embrace morbid unity

To make a deal with the past

Where lives were ended by a speedy gun blast

The good, bad and the ugly

Was the old school Black, White and Grey

Black Death, White Horror, Grey Extinction: Yet God Still Reigns

Black death victim's of the street, or victim's of choice's made?
In this life I live I see my people dying out, putting the the blame on the world, why?
Easier to shift blame on all sides than be the change you want to see.
I scream this everyday in my heart before I get capped by my brother man.

White horror world's way, Get dat money! you will be fine as the world wither's and dies.
they sit in high seats of power protected by laws made to see us fail.
They only care for who they can use. Looking for the worst in black skin by default.
Oh they have no home training or culture because the don't act like us. Yea right...

Grey Extinction, genocidal men. A burnt out crater called earth.
Global destruction, no one cares. Get money tell ya body rots.
Balling hard, yea we won't let the world die they say as it dies faster every year.
Is race the issue or is it just an excuse not to be change that matters?

Yet God still Reigns. We live our life we have a choice.
We gotta use love and peace tell we rot in the ground.
Riding for hope and humanity even after death.
I see the light and the dark so I thug for the light.

    Black, white, grey
    Dark as my heart
    Bright as day

Which am I, tell me truth?
    Look into my eyes
That you can no longer sooth
    Which am I?

    As the bell rings
    And the door closes
    Enclosing me forever
    Never, oh aether

As God greets me at his door
    Your answer finally makes sense
There is but grey, nothing more
The other shades are but a pretense.
