mine keeps changing. on hot days of summer I post winter weather. when I miss children to the point of distraction I post pictures of my grandchildren. when I am worried about Dom or Raymond I have their pictures. Right now I have one of my husband with a rifle over his shoulder. He would not like me to post it here since it shows his pot belly. But I love him too much to care and his face is just something I love to see.
New Background Joba Chamberlain, one of my favorite players, has been on bereavement leave all week. I miss watching him go out there and strike people out, so I decided to put him up on my background.
New Desktop I've changed my desktop. I added some new anti-spyware and updated my anti-virus, along with updating windows; so I had to restart my computer. I always have to close all of my programs whenever I do that so I cleaned up my computer a bit when I did and I decided to add a new desktop and change the colors along with the entrance avatar. As a Bio Conservation major...I know this is dorky. But two of my favorite animals happen to be otters and pandas. In fact, I have several WWF (World Wildlife Fund) T-shirts that (I admit) I bought initially for the panda logo. But I was VERY pleased to know I was still helping a good cause while feeding my addiction.
it's called 'home' and i wish it was!... reminds me of my years rv-ing all over the southwest [plus north, south, east, west of both us and canada!] and my best-of-all time living with the hopi, though this seems to be an adobe in taos or abiquiu, new mexico...

It's simple. First, press Print Screen (or PrnScr on some keyboards) to copy the screen, then open a photo editor (Paint etc). Paste the screen there (Ctrl + V, or Edit -> Paste) and save the image. Now go to the forum, click Insert Image -> From Computer -> Select Files and, um, select the file. Click Upload, and there you go. The picture will be small, but we can click it to get a bigger version.
More people need to be cool like me and clutter their desktop with random files. Though mine has gotten much cleaner over the years. At least I no longer use it as my download folder...
Let's give this a try then. If I did this correctly, it should show my slightly cluttered desktop with the always handsome Hatake Kakashi protecting it

Now this is what you call uncluttered! (For the life of me I can't quite work out how to remove the Recycle Bin icon. Certainly, I'm being dumb. Perhaps someone might tell me? :redface
On Win7: Right-click the desktop, select Properties, then Manage Desktop Icons (or something like that; I use a Norwegian version of Win 7) and uncheck the recycle bin. Not sure how it's done on WinXP and Vista, but I assume it's something similar.
