    Dark Fiction Publisher

Discussion in 'Traditional Publishing' started by Torana, Mar 24, 2008.

I was listening to a podcast by Ben Ead, about dark fiction presses and came across a publisher that might interest those of you who are interested in writing dark fiction in any genre.

Here is a link to the page on myspace for those of you who would like to take a look.

    http://www.myspace.com/asheneye

Well hope that it helps people out who are interested in dark fiction. I will post up more dark fiction publishers as I come across them to help dark fiction writers get their work published.

the myspace link doesn't work, t... why not just give a link to the actual publisher's site?

    here it is: http://www.ashen-eye.com/

and it should be noted that this is a freebie, no payment made for work published other than a tiny 'prize' [$10/10/5]to what they call their 3 'favorite' works per issue...

Are they new? I'm a bit hesitant about the myspace approach.

They do have a website though: http://www.ashen-eye.com/

Edit: maia, you beat me to it! (the myspace works fine for me)

Sorry I was going to put up the link to the site, but for some unknown reason I was unable to get onto their page to do so.

And thanks maia, it worked from my computer though...

Yes Daniel, they are new, I only heard about them through a podcast recently.

Myspace may have been having some technical difficulties when you tried to view it. Happens a bit on there really.

But as you stated, having the direct link to their website is much better, so thank you and Daniel for both posting the link :)

I've submitted a poem. I don't know if it has much of a chance, but it's worth a try.

It is always worth while to submit. You never know what will happen. Sometimes you get back some amazing feedback from the publishers as well. So I wish you the best of luck with your submission.
