    I keep seeing...

Discussion in 'Traditional Publishing' started by Weaselword, Aug 21, 2007.

...advertisements for the WL Writers' Literary Agency on this site. Preditors and Editors has their little gang down as "strongly not recommended".

I imagine this is probably some kind of google ads thing and the admins may not be able to change which ads are displayed, but I wanted to mention P&E's view of the WL WLA, in case anyone is thinking of submitting to them.

Good call, bringing this to the attention of the forums, but I'm afraid your right; admin has no control over the advertisements on the site.

I really don't think there is anything Daniel can do about it, Maia. It's down to google ads, or whoever.

The ads are based on the actual site targeting their site to be displayed here or shown based on the topics relevance (writing).

I don't think I can do much about it - however, I will look into it in more detail.

The link to that site should no longer appear in any ads. I'm sorry it took so long to get it blocked.

It actually was really easy. I just had to know how to do it.

If anyone sees these advertisements be sure to let me know - cause they should be gone.

    Lpspider,

Great work and diligence on this! They are one of the worst with respect to preying on new writers.

    All Hail the Administrator!

Easy enough, but I found it took a bit of time to get right.
