Why does modern lingo make me feel as though I should sacrifice a few IQ points to give it credence or definition?

That is not what I am saying Cyd. I just don't want to have to keep up the lingo from the late 90's till current.
It is quite taxing to have to remember a bunch of non-word words that represent words, though we all have
a set of slang terms we keep on file that fit our persona though. :)

My left front tire is going flat. Now, what's strange about it is that it's a new tire & no matter how many tires I put there it goes flat. So, I'd say something's wrong with something else, wouldn't you? :)

Random Thought #1- A part of me wanted to troll Minstrel yesterday, but I didn't want to feel like an asshole. <gives him back the acorns and brushes his fur with a small toy brush>

Random Thought #2- I had a weird dream that Amy from The Big Bang Theory hung out with Elsa and Ana from Frozen. And also Amy had painful scoliosis or whatever. WTF, brain?

I dreamt that one of my business partners (and friend) fell over to the other side of the bar where we were having a conversation. Once he had fallen wayside, I looked over to see if I could reach down and help him get back to the correct side. All I could see when I looked over the bar was a deep pit with an intense fire burning in the middle as Jason ran around it babbling inanely at our other partners through his cell phone, seemingly unaware of the heat. So in turn, I shouted and screamed his name several times to get his attention, but all this shouting accomplished was to wake me up and provided what one could call a subconsciously generated random thought.

So random thought this morning was : Business partners are like spouses. You eventually stop listening to each other because you know them so well, hence you already have a pretty good idea about what is gonna go down. So why speak, shout or say anything at all.

There needs to be a movie about Harriet Tubman, the most badass lady of the Antebellum South. Legend has it that while she was escorting slaves up North to freedom, one of them lost his courage and thought it'd be better to go BACK. Harriet pulled a gun on him and said basically, "You can come with me, or you can die right now 'cause I'm not letting you go back."

Come on, Hollywood! Get this movie made already!! >:[

    Ugh, no.

And only because they'd add a love interest. a pet, and find a way to cast Angelina Jolie in the starring role. Hollywood rarely fails to disappoint when dealing with history.

Good point, and they'd probably turn it into an action-adventure with Harriet shooting people left and right, jumping out of burning buildings, etc.

Also, it'd be riddled with historical inaccuracies.

TAGLINE: "How far will you go for freedom?"
HARRIET TUBMAN: "You can either come with me and live, or go back to die!"
OSCAR (played by Will Smith): "I march for pure love!!"

When no one is there, does it really matter what you do?
