    Reynolds-alike recommendation.

Discussion in 'Discussion of Published Works' started by Game Over, Dec 14, 2008.

I have completely loved every one of Alastair Reynolds books. They all have such a sound basis in science (Reynolds used to work on the European Space Program) and have large galaxy spanning story arcs.

Could anyone else reccomend a similar style of writing? Otherwise I shall have to wait until October 2009 for the next one to appear.

I have tried that Iain M. Banks fella, and not really enjoyed it as much as Reynolds. The Algebraist and Excession were not the page turners that Reynolds seems to foster in me.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
