    Rock Out

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Leaka, Dec 23, 2008.

Hey, who rocks out around here?
What I mean by rocks out, are there those moments in your life when you have the absolutely best playlist on the planet and the music is getting you in the groove?
You just suddenly get up and starting dancing around your room with the door closed, and lip sing with it as well.
    Anyone rock out?

Hmmm...nah. I've never had that feeling before, but my playlist is pretty awesome.

I don't know how you could rock out to AC/DC.
    But each to his own.

So no one has dance around in their room lip singing songs.
Well thats :( because now I am embarrassed to admitting that I do.

Well I don't classify AC/DC as rock very much.
Cause I don't like their music.
They are not a good band.
I usually call them cry with a guitar.

    @Wreybeis: Lol!

I'm pretty weird with music. My car radio constantly alternates between smooth jazz, classical, and rap, all of which have the profound ability to get me "in the zone."

Not really into rock, but I like rap and hip hop. Good stuff to chill to, depending on what song you choose. Just like any genre, not everyone who can talk over a good beat is a real rapper; don't be fooled by the imposters.

Yeah, before he went nuts he was pretty good on the mic. Actually, he's still good, but his lyrics are kinda weird now. He seems so angry at the world. I'm not really into that.

i've been known to do that rather often. if it's not too late then i go ahead and sing out loud too. sometimes to rap/r&b, sometimes to alternative-ish stuff, some to j- or k-pop, and in rare cases to the soundtrack of battlestar galactica (the bear mccreary version) i've never danced to thomas newman though...

i'd be doing it now if i had a room.

    We are cool.
I always pretend to be the main singer of rock bands.:cool:

@Anonymouse: I like his weird lyrics, but then again I'm pretty weird. I like his weird songs like Just Lose It, Slim Shady, My Name Is. I also like Mockingbird.

    I don't dance, but I've been known to head-bob. I know, I know... it's sad.

Head bobbing is a danger to your health.
Its easy to give yourself a brain hemmerage that way.

    bobbing, not thrashing, lol
I don't have to give myself a concussion to enjoy some good music.
I'll pass on the mosh pit, too, for the same reason.

    I like mudding pitting.
A safer version of mosh pitting.
Me and my friends make mud balls and throw them around.
