Can anyone recommend any fantasy-ish/sci-fi rps on here? I'm not exactly sure where to look for one, since the 'kickstarter' seems a little muddled.
@Chester Stark Most are well under way like Celtic Gods (fantasy) and 2063: Icarus (cyberpunky) but you could always ask the gm if they'll squeeze you in! I've just seen Shattered Eclipse though, looks wide open, I would join myself but I got too much on my books.
Hello my freinds, I am totally new to this forum and need guidance. I used to role play with some pals a little while back and have been missing it. So after a veritable montage of Internet trawling, here I am! I've read up on the rules and have been looking through some of your fabulous works and would love to get involved however I am not really sure how to. So in short if someone could just bottlefeed me a little I'd be ever so grateful
I would suggest waiting for a new roleplay to start to join one. The ones that are active right now are pretty deep in the story already.
Welcome! Look in the first post of the rp you're interested in joining and follow the guidelines you see there about how to make a character template. Pm your template to the person in charge of the rp. They'll let you know if it's okay to join and what to do from there. Several are just starting out (or trying to) and some of the more developed ones might still be okay with introducing new players. All you have to do to find out is pm the person in charge.
Welcome to the forums! I agree with Eric's advice, but I am sure some roleplays can still take you. Some like Act One, a person could join although there would be a lot to understand. A Sirens Call did just start a little ago, and if you hurry you can try to catch up. I suggest you look in Roleplay Kickstarter for some roleplays you might be intrested in that haven't gone up yet.
Struggling with a mouse arm and a new job right now, so definetly not as active as I used to be, but I think I still qualify.
Personally I prefer fantasy/Scifi but I'd happily go for something out of my comfort zone if you've already got something in mind.
Sort of a vague idea with certain fantasy touch. Kinda been a long time since I roleplayed so I felt lik doing it again
I'd actually like to see and join another superhero RP. When I first joined, I noticed one had just ended, and I was pretty sad about that. Superhero RPs are fun.
It's pretty much just a typical murder mystery in a college town. Basically it's a huge mystery because it's such a normally peaceful place to live but now theres a serial killer who's killing people and leaving behind no conclusive evidence and everyone in town is terrified. It's not as developed as it could be, but I'm kind of hoping we could all bounce some ideas around in the discussion. Lol
If you want to join or add another roleplay, start in Roleplay kickstarter. But as for a superhero RP, I'd probably be down. Depends on the story.
