RPG lounge discussion thread

You all know the drill.

Also I'm thinking that there should also be a parking garage for cars/jets/starships. You know, ride to the lounge in style.

 

Why do you need a discussion thread for a lounge?

 

@Cogito: For things like this:

Deathblade, we shouldnt limit racing to cars, we need dogs, horses, and Chocobos.

I thought the nergal was cool at first. Then i remembered that it was from that billy and mandy cartoon and the coolness dropped a level. Still not bad though.

I'm ready to start when you are Abc. I'll even initiate the quest if you want me to, just give me the details (It's a little hard to tell people about a quest if you a bunny)

 

ummm, did you at least read the comic? Because even though its from that show, the fact of how awesomely drawn and displayed the comic is should definately raise the coolness level.

Also, I hope you don't mind me taking more then a few creative liberties with the lounge, Deathblade.

Yeah, I didn't think it would be right to implement it in that post for some reason. Just go about your business for awhile and I'll post 'er up.

 

lets start up the game first and then give the quest to the task master in the form of a letter (who knew rabbits could write) then we'll discuss it later.

Hey, Deathblade i just had a good idea. tell me what you think.

Honorius is the bar master (id be AMG then), he would run the bar and such and while he's out on quests or having fun he summons a few angles and demons or some super awesome bar mages (like those professional drink makers who spin the cups and stuff but with magic) to run the bar while he's out.

 

Just so you know, Lagomorph only has those huge teeth while he's mutated, so his head is 3 feet wide right now and filled with two rows of thigh-thick teeth. Also, I meant that to mean that Lagomorph grabbed on to his entire body, not just his arm.

 

DAMN.

Oh, boy.

Wait, wouldn't he be uncomfortable in a 4 by 4 cage?

 

@ BTH, you gotta nocie that he made it 4' by 4', in other words its a 4 foot by 4 foot cage, very large.

@ honorius, yeah you can be the bartender, I'm still the pubmaster however and owner of the entire establishment.

@ Abc, since Lagomorp is in a cage, and has a sign in my bar with no obvious tender, I'd figure that I technically own him and am the only one he responds to.

 

Seems fitting that its "owner" (it's not just some dumb animal who'd let itself be owned by another) is a demon. Also, I was thinking that he just wandered in one day (fairly resently) and started killing people, so you guys locked him up so he'd stop. Though I think him being a long-term attendant would be just as fine.

Oh, wonderful. I get to serve drinks to people I don't know. Fitting punishment, I s'pose.

 

hey BTH, the only way you could know my person is if I introduced myself (which I haven't) or if I had a nametag (which I don't)

 

*groan* My bad, I'm new to this.

 

When you're referring to someone who your character does not know in a way that's not dialogue or otherwise showing that your character knows who he/she/it is then I don't see how it's not (for lack of a better term) acceptable. For example, typing "x said, "blah blah blah" to y," where x is your character and y is an unknown other character, should be perfectly fine.

Also, it's kinda frustrating making sure that I'm referring to Lagomorph as "it" and not "he".

 

Yeah, but I apologized for opening the cage and killing HIS employee. Just, didn't... pay attention. Will promise to pay more attention in the future.

And yeah, I'm sure it's frustrating having an androgynous character.

 

So, I'm ready to start that quest whenever you guys want. It's rather long, though.

 

well first BTH has to answer my questions then you can present the next quest to me.
