    Zeppelin fans

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by ChevyGurl, Sep 12, 2008.

Zeppelin is what I write to a lot of the times. Anyone else here an avid fan? Surprising how many of their songs get me in the right mindset to write poems.
    Some inspiration:
    "Thats the Way"
    "The Rain Song"
    "In My Time of Dying"
    "In the Light"
    "The Ocean"
    "All my Love"

Anyone with me here? Or no? Probably not. I am most likely talking to myself. Nice.

I am most certainly a Zeppelin fan, so you can at least not have to talk to yourself! :p

I don't often listen for inspiration, but I do have them playing often enough when I'm writing. Depending of my mood, songs played most often are:

    Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You
    Battle of Evermore
    Kashmir
    Dazed and Confused
    When the Levee Breaks

    ...to name a few.

No? Does anyone listen to music while writing? Hmm...I usually sit by the river, play a soft Zeppelin song and usually come outta there with a pretty good poem. Better then if I was sitting home in a quiet room...the music gets my thoughts going almost like I can imagine things going on on in my head first
