    It's Women's Day!

    Happy International Women's Day!

So, it's the International Women's Day again. How are you planning to celebrate it, if you're a woman? How are you planning to celebrate the women in your life if you're a man?

Me, I'm spending the day with the missus and I'll bake chocolate-chocolate chip muffins. Yes, really. I haven't baked in...17 years but I'm pretty good around the kitchen, so we'll see just what kind of destruction and devastation I can produce. The rest of the day we'll spend doing what we love most, writing.

How about you gals and guys?

Aww, I miss celebrating 8th March. We used to celebrate in Yugoslavia, but sadly, in the UK and Australia nobody even thinks about it.

I'm celebrating at home, lovely day, a spot of lunch and a husband doing a DIY project I've been wanting to do for a long time (painting a display cabinet darker colour) :D

ps. Is that young Johnny Depp on the picture? ;)

@jazzabel, sounds like you got a nice day planned. Some of our best wife/husband days have been spent at home, doing "ordinary" things, just the two of us.

I figured eye candy would taste better on a computer screen than a picture of actual chocolate. :D

If you have the kind of girlfriend I have, every day is Women's Day.

I thought women were celebrated as mothers by mothers' day, and lovers by valentines day. What's this one for?

Isn't every celebration ultimately just for shits and giggles?
