@matwoolf is officially the most interesting poster on WF. Has he on at least one particular occasion critiqued too harshly , especially considering how soft he's become as of late? Yes. Can his sentences at times frustrate or provoke? Yes. Does he occasionally get outwitted by at least one particular person here? Yes. But there's not one post of Mat's that's not uniquely his. Not one that doesn't leave me in awe. I love her to death.
No, HERE is the painting from the Getty (you can see that even in the 1700s, cats were smartasses, and people still wanted selfies with them):
I am going to honor the crowd I hang out with - and implied is that the other people here are still family. Remember: Family is, if you have to go there they have to take you in So this is my hug to @Oscar Leigh, @Haze-world, @Greenwood, not forgetting @Shbooblie, @zoupskim and of course @Cave Troll Also a big thank you to all who have given advice, recently or in past. I have learned lots from you guys, and I appreciate! You know who you are!
I'd like to take this time to say how awesome @Lewdog is. I mean seriously... just awesome. Huuuuuuuuuuuge!
@123456789 why is this just official as of late? I thought @matwoolf was always the official ma[t]scot of www.writingforums.org
Big thanks going out to @Commandante Lemming for slogging through the worst thing ever written with me, to the amusement of everyone else. We survived the horrors of Jennifer Cruise a couple of chapters at a time. Also all the love (and the muns ) to: @matwoolf, @Oscar Leigh, @Lifeline, @Raven484, @Tenderiser, @Steerpike, @Haze-world, @GuardianWynn, @Link the Writer , @Wreybies , and last but not least @jannert (even though jannert and I don't always agree). And If I forgot you then add yourself here: _______________________________________________
Thanks to @Cave Troll for giving me a chance to Beta read his WIP. I read it every night before I go to bed. I want to thank @Lifeline for bringing me to this thread when I've been distracted by work and whatnot, and for the talks we've had. I want to thank @GingerCoffee @Tenderiser for always giving me advice. And I want to thank @Lorena and @Justin Phillips for critiquing the thing I posted in the workshop. I take your advice seriously. This forum is so helpful. I knew I needed to listen too and spend time with other writers to write better, but I never knew how much of a family a group like this can be.
I have a long distance geek crush on @No-Name Slob cause she's awesome and am very grateful for the help and encouragement given to me by @jannert, cause she's awesome.
Edit: Fun fact. I almost used two different emojis before I realized they could be misconstrued as sexual innuendos.
