Silly man, the skin suit too. Chop Chop.:superlaugh:

Or perhaps they will perfect brain transplants in the near future. That would be the marvel of our time if that were to happen, then we wouldn't have to die.

Thread went from 'say something nice' to 'you want to sleep with me, don't you?' in only 4 pages.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Don't look at me. I went to the macabre, and the scientific. As much fun as it would be to get down to who wants to knock boots with who, I just don't find it proper at least not here. Somebody should start a thread for that, this one already has a designated purpose.

Yes, yes, with whom. One should use proper language when they are discussing the topic of coitus. After all we all use proper grammar and language etiquette when we entwine our flesh with another person. How clumsy of me.

And thanks @Cave Troll for making that read absolutely epic. Also thanks to @LinnyV and @Mckk for joining in on that mess and keeping it going. And I definitely have to be nice to @jannert for having actually looked at my work - even if it was a while ago it was really helpful (that thing is almost done by the way - first draft at least - but it's moving glacially slow).

    Grace? Well, I also try ... hippo.jpg

Very kind words. Thank you. I am actually very very fond of this forum, and it's the people who make it fun and informative. I have made real friends here.

@Commandante Lemming Out of everyone on this forum, it was YOU who actually made the biggest contribution to my writing experience here. I know, you're probably shocked. hehe

For me, it's not about being told how to write. It's about being encouraged to open a new creative door, to take an interest and to have a peek. To explore new ideas.

And I loved what I saw too.

I would have never considered reading or writing Sci-Fi previously. But now, it's a genre I feel comfortable with, a theme for a story I am writing, and today, I was thinking about kicking off a thread elsewhere with a kinky Sci-Fi theme. ;)

So you did the above for me. All because of your openness to conversation, genuine interest in the opinion of others and enthusiasm for your genre. Anyway, I'm always looking for inspiration and you gave that to me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. :blowkiss:

@Wreybies @Mckk - I've always said, mods make a forum, and you both are examples of this to me.

@jannert - I've fallen in love with you too. Don't worry, it's the platonic kind. hehe I watch you tirelessly helping others. This forum is very lucky to have you.

    @Wayjor Frippery - You're a hugger?! I never would have suspected. :bigtongue:

(Considering the OP) @LinnyV I don't follow you as such, but I do think you're a respectable intelligent voice and I appreciate your advice on my excerpt thread. It's nice to hear different opinions. Thanks!:superagree::blowkiss:

WHAT?!?!?! You do not follow me?!

I have been told I am a Goddess! Of what? I am not entirely sure.

Oh shit...it might have been a dream.

But know that I ONLY critiqued your excerpt because I decided you were a caring little heart beat in this place. That was until you asked too many questions and reminded me you were argumentative Oscar! :bigtongue:

Then you would be surprised. The words I post here are the tip of the iceberg.

And, often, the iceberg is not even mine.

Awwww @LinnyV , That's nice of you. Seriously, the best part of writing for me - both here and will my in-person group, is getting to intersect with a lot of people who have the same interest in stories but wildly different perspectives in terms of genre and personal experience. It really makes one think.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed peeking into SciFi (and that you dealt with my rather haphazard peek into Romance). I'd really love to see what you write with that theme - especially since you're one of the quicker wits on this board.

    Welcome to the club! :p

Oh - and I forgot to tag @Wreybies in my first post. How did I miss that? Great job modding this place - not to mention the insightful thoughts on writing itself.

I'm going to hold you to that. Your opinion would be gold to me. I've been on the hunt for a couple of quality male critiquers for my action scenes, and don't worry, I'm a bloodthirsty romance writer type. ;-)

    No crusie cruise from me.

But I shall PM you when I have a moment.

Okay, so I wanted to reply to my complimeters. Here goes.
@Tenderiser this is how everyone in my family feels about me. Accuracy. @Tenderiser is very astute. And she has a funny blog too.
@Lifeline. How do I put this? I always want to know more about you. Feel free to talk to me at any time. Well, except if, magically, I happen to be making with some hot guy. Then obviously not. But otherwise!
@Cave Troll we are beautiful together. That is all that needs to be said.
And then of course we have our great overlord!
@Wreybies, you are my spirit animal. Save some of the awesome for the rest of us.

This is the first time I noticed this thread.

I couldn't even begin to figure out who to name on this site. So many of you have been so helpful in all aspects of this project. I'm especially grateful for those of you who take the time to review my work and for answering all my idiotic grammar questions. Also a thanks for those who run contests. I've been having fun with those, makes for a nice break in my work.

I'll try a few but if I skip you, don't think it's intentional.
