    A question Google can't answer.

    Discussion in 'Research' started by Aaron Smith, Oct 18, 2014.

    I was envisioning my MC having a brown shiny car. All I could find was a Rolls Royce Silver Spur, and what I'm interested in is a car with similar design, but significantly cheaper. There's not much to say, but I will provide a picture of a Rolls Royce Silver. I think it's important I have the proper name, since describing the car would make it sound empty and flat.

    You could always have an 80s Mercedes, which would be quite cheap now.

    That is exactly the kind of car I had in mind. Thank you very much!

    Do you have any idea what it is called specifically?

    This is Mercedes 190E (E-class).

    I think it was introduced for the first time somewhere around 1985. :)

    @Poziga knows cars better than me :agreed: I tend to remember the look and vaguely the brand.

    If you have friends who constantly talk about cars of 80s and 70s you remember a few. :p

    @Aaron Smith, no problem :)

    There's a very amusing scene in a TV series where the man says (I paraphrase) "I've got a Mercedes 190E, brown, with optional tiger-skin seat covers and a suped-dooper double-woofer stereo system." and the girl hears "I've got a car".

    You can give too much information that's not relevant.

    Yeah, but that's not how I'm writing it. The opening line is literally "I roll down the street in my Mercedes 190E."
    Yes, it's told in first person present tense.
